On Friday the 25th of January we filmed our Thriller Opening Sequence, I was apprehensive to begin with, as I didn't know whether the wedding dress would look okay on our actress. Immediately we encountered problems with the make up for our actress, we were aiming to use bruising make up to indicate signs of a struggle, and suggest that our villain would be a violent and dangerous character. However when we went to ask fro some make up there was none in the office, therefore we have to improvise and use eye shadow in patches on the actress's face to give the bruising effect. We also needed to make the dress dirty, to indicate signs of struggle, so we went outside to find some dirt we could use, however the ground was frozen so we needed hot water to melt it.
After all the preparations were done we started filming. I feel that the filming went well, the coffin we used was perfect for the situation our protagonist was in. I also felt that the actress we chose was perfect for the part, and she performed very well. Overall I feel that the filming was a success, and I am very happy with our results having watched them through.
